Support staff are operational members of PVRS who fulfill and oversee vital training, educational, and maintenance roles within the company, but are not elected officers. These members are willing to put in the extra time to help ensure that newer volunteers can attain the knowledge and skills needed to help others, and to ensure that apparatus run smoothly. Support staff should not be confused with the Support membership type.

The numbers, such as 1471 and 1401, are the radio designations for the provider.
The first two numbers represent the company (in this case, 14 = PVRS, 8 = Philomont, 99 = LCFR Career, etc.), and the following numbers represent the indivudal. All radio designators for EMT-Es in LCFR start in the '70s range, while EMT-I/P start at 01.
ST stands for Shock Trauma.
CT stands for Cardiac Trauma.
